Katherine DiMatteo 

Independent Consultant

Katherine DiMatteo is an independent consultant specializing in organic regulations and non-profit management.  She was previously the managing partner at Wolf, DiMatteo + Associates, a consulting firm. From November 2013 to August 2019, she was the executive director of the Sustainable Food Trade Association (SFTA). In that role, she was one of the founders of the Climate Collaborative Project, a partnership of OSC2 and SFTA. Formerly the executive director of the Organic Trade Association from 1990 to 2006, she was instrumental in shaping the outcome of the U.S. National Organic Program standards and the U.N. Codex Guidelines for organically produced foods. DiMatteo has served as the president of IFOAM-Organics International Board of Directors, is a founding member of The Organic Center, and currently serves on the Fairtrade America Board of Directors.
