Paicines Ranch - Integrating Carbon Farming at the Farm Level

We're excited to share information on our October session-- a special look at carbon farming practices and successes on Paicines Ranch in California, which we hope will be a teaser for a potential in-person visit next year!

In our October session we'll welcome Sallie Calhoun, owner of 7600-acre Paicines Ranch. Sallie will talk about the journey--and results--she has seen on her ranch's journey to integrate carbon farming practices starting in 2001. We'll look at their guiding principals on carbon farming, specific techniques they are employing, and the results they're seeing.

Paicines Ranch offers in-depth, multi-day, experiential group learning experiences. The Climate Collaborative has developed an initial syllabus of what a ROOTED group learning experience at Paicines Ranch might look like. After Sallie's presentation and group discussion, we hope to hear your feedback about this possible in-person learning opportunity in the spring of 2019.
