Sustainable Food Trade Association's April webinar brings greenhouse gas inventories full-circle with its deep look at Scope 3 inventory tracking and measurement. GHG Inventory expert Good Company will describe the foundational components of Scope 3 inventory tracking, including components such as employee commuting, transportation of ingredients and finished goods, co-packing and farming emissions. The largest component of Scope 3 emissions – supply chain – will be the focus of the webinar. Open-source tools that exist to help calculate Scope 3 – supply chain emissions will be reviewed, and approaches to assess or engage supply chain partners in the process will be highlighted. In particular, attendees at all stages of inventory management will benefit from learning about methodologies for tracking whether they are in beginning, intermediate, or advanced stages of Scope 3 inventory assessments.
