Alongside the release of our first Tracking Progress Update, the Climate Collaborative’s April webinar will delve into ways that companies can deepen their metrics and reporting practices.

Tracking progress helps companies assess where impacts are being seen and where they can still be maximized. In this webinar, we will delve into ways that companies can go deeper as they begin to track and report progress against their climate commitments. While quantitative metrics and tracking aren't a required part of our tracking progress update, we hope this will help companies looking to take their tracking one step further.

We will frame the discussion through the lens of the Climate Collaborative’s nine commitment areas and the action areas in the SFTA Sustainability Framework. We'll talk through:

  • Key steps in the tracking journey
  • Four distinct categories of climate metrics, and how they relate to Scope 1, 2, & 3 emissions
  • Specific metrics in these four categories
  • Best practice examples on metrics and reporting

Panelists will highlight tools, software, and methods for tracking internal programs, with a focus on Scope 1 & 2 emissions. Some Scope 3 emission tracking efforts and best practice will be discussed, although there will be a more thorough examination of Scope 3 supply chain metrics tracking later on in 2018.

Be sure to bring your questions, successes, and challenges in tracking metrics to the webinar, as there will be time to discuss these in detail with our panel and with each other!

Please register here to join our April webinar. We look forward to hosting you there!

Note: If unable to attend live and ask questions of our presenters, a recording will be available on the Climate Collaborative’s Media and Resources page after the webinar.
