In the natural product industry, few discussions can be more technical than that of product packaging. Yet developing a fluency in sustainable packaging is critical to help drive sustainable, climate-friendly packaging design within companies, and the ability to convey sustainable design choices and advantages to consumers. These two points –packaging fluency and related consumer engagement— drive the Climate Collaborative’s September webinar: Yin and Yang: Understanding and Conveying Advantages of your Sustainable Product Packaging.

Expert panelists include sustainable packaging manufacturers, sustainable brand and messaging consultants, and leading natural product industry brands. Sustainable packaging manufacturer Elk Packaging will guide us through a discussion on the technical aspects of common packaging options (currently) considered to be more “sustainable” or “climate-friendly, such as flexible packaging and Tetra Pak. Brand experts Modern Species will review opportunities that brands have to increase consumer loyalty and sustainable behaviors via product packaging. Finally, attendees will have a chance to learn about Numi’s sustainable packaging development process from testing to marketing claim verification to rollout strategy.

Note: If unable to attend live and ask questions of our presenters, a recording will be available on the Climate Collaborative’s Media and Resources page after the webinar.
