Leveraging Supply Chains for Regenerating Farmland and Forests

May 19th at 10 a.m. Pacific / 1 p.m. Eastern (90 Minutes)

nursery_meeting.jpgClimate Collaborative companies who made Agriculture or Forestry commitments can work with their supply chains to increase the carbon stored in soil, improve efficiency of crop inputs, and ensure commodities are derived from deforestation-free sources. But practically, how do you implement these practices in a global supply chain? Join Andrew Nobrega from PUR Projet and Mathieu Senard from Alter Eco to learn about the livelihood benefits of ecosystem restoration and climate action at the farm level. They will review how their regenerative agriculture techniques help farmers to preserve heirloom grains, and replenish and reforest the land, and will discuss the concept of insetting, and review regenerative projects they oversee.
