 Janice Hall is President and Founder of Natural Network International (NNI). A business development, trends forecasting, marketing and brand-building company since 1991, NNI guides leadership in organizations with market intelligence and strategic management in areas of health & wellness, environmental sustainability and clean technology solutions. Hall has a keen ability to identify a person or organization’s unique market proposition, in order to reach the ideal demographic target in a language they can understand. Her background in natural sciences gives her marketing an added dimension. Ms. Hall has over 35 years of experience as a pioneer in the LOHAS (Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability) industries. Her trendsetting expertise covers a wide variety of natural, organic and environmental products, services and issues.

Her experience includes various executive positions for New Hope Network, the leading communications company, instrumental in driving the growth of the natural product market to $260 billion in 2015. As their first Director of International Development, she created the template for global expansion. Responsibilities included identifying trade opportunities and barriers, as well as building relationships with government groups, leaders of trade associations and distribution systems in numerous countries, resulting in millions of dollars of revenue for the company, as well as the industry at large. Simultaneously she was the Associate Group Publisher for four industry magazines: Natural Foods Merchandiser, Organic Times, Herb Market Review and Delicious Living. Hall was deeply involved in the development of the Natural Products Expos, and in addition, initiated the greening of the company, its publications, and trade shows.

Ms. Hall has been very involved in political issues facing the industry. She initiated the concept for the first industry-wide lobbying day in Washington, D.C. for the 20,000 plus attendees of the Natural Products Expo. As co-chair for the Colorado Coalition of Dietary Supplements, an education and lobbying group, she contributed to the passage of DSHEA (Dietary Supplement, Health, and Education Act). In addition, she has been very involved in issues regarding US organic standards, land and energy conservation, as well as a diligent supporter of organic farmers. In 2002, Ms. Hall co-founded Organic Vintners, initiating development of a new category in the wine industry. Importing over 60 wines from 11 countries, Organic Vintners established category leadership in the US market.

National and international event planning and execution have been a special focus, with key projects such as: development of the internationally recognized Natural Products Expos in PA, D.C., MD, CA and Amsterdam, contributions to numerous United Nations related events including, as a Co-coordinator of the Citizen’s Summit, at the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio De Janeiro, and as International Deputy Campaign Manager for the Mayors for Peace 20/20 Vision Campaign (for a nuclear-weapon-free world by the year 2020), for the 2005 UN NPT Review.

In the areas of environment and climate change, currently, Hall consults for the American Renewable Energy Institute (AREI) on Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, and Marketing. Previously she was a consultant for the CEO BP Alternative Energy and the Executive Director Greenpeace. She was an interviewer for Choosing Green TV at high-profile events such as the Clinton Global Initiative and the 2009 Obama Inauguration. In the Princeton Community, she was involved in developing the award-winning Princeton Environmental Film Festival and the Environmental Education Fund (EEF).

Hall continues her studies with course work in international policy, environmental sciences and climate change mitigation at Princeton University. Hall has served clients globally from Australia, Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, England, France, Germany, India, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, and several countries on the African continent. She is an avid outdoor adventurer with a love of skiing, hiking, and sailing.
