Connections: How Relationships and Farmer Training Unlock Regenerative Agriculture

Friday, November 8
10AM PDT // 11AM MDT // 12PM CDT // 1PM EDT

A regenerative food system doesn’t happen in a vacuum; a variety of relationships are critical to build a truly regenerative natural products industry, especially at the farm level. The Climate Collaborative’s November ROOTED session welcomes Jim Fullmer and Fred Kirschenmann to explore these topics. Representing decades of work in organic, biodynamic production, and farmer-to-farmer training, they will share their deep experience on how relationships are critical to building regenerative farm practices. Special focus will be given to how these relationships create the foundation to conduct successful farmer to farmer training that helps grow a regenerative agricultural community. Connections will use a panel-style format and explore questions about the conditions needed for effective F2F training, how to achieve scalability of process and results, and resources and tools that exist to help companies interested in this effort.
