ROOTING Around: Share Your Stories of Progress
Wednesday, June 27
10AM PT // 11AM MT // 12PM CT // 1PM ET
As the Climate Collaborative’s first member progress survey comes to a close, it is a great opportunity to hear best practice examples and progress from within our community! June’s ROOTED session will open with an overview of the Agriculture trends we are seeing in the annual survey responses. Next, we'll hear from specific members sharing examples of progress--and in some cases challenges to progress--they are making.
Katie Clark, Happy Family’s Director of Sustainability, will share their developing program around On-Farm Regenerative Training, working with farmers in their supply chain to improve carbon farming and other holistic agricultural practices. Ryan Zinn, Organic and Fair Trade Coordinator for Dr. Bronner’s, will then share some of their global farmer-to-farmer training projects, as well as efforts in new crop areas like cacao, and looks forward to input on how to address some of their emerging challenges.
ROOTED Members are encouraged to bring their own stories of progress to discuss with the group. Please feel free to connect with your video on for a more engaged conversation as was suggested at our May ROOTED session.
We look forward to seeing you there!
