In the third session of our eight-part Retailer Climate Action Education series, we will focus on essential data insights that retailers need to understand the current consumer purchasing habits. We will also provide tools and resources to inform retailer purchasing decisions and policies, and share case studies demonstrating how merchandising can be aligned with the store's values to support customer retention, maintain a strong bottom line, and achieve climate goals.
Sherry Frey, Vice President of Total Wellness at NIQ, will share consumer purchasing trends to help retailers identify which sustainability attributes are most meaningful for their stores. Shelley Sapsin, VP of Market Integrity at Informa Markets, will introduce the Beacon Discovery Platform and demonstrate how it can assist retailers in discovering brands that align with these sustainability attributes. Steven Jamieson, Health and Body Care Merchandiser at PCC Community Markets, will speak to their purchasing standards and how they operationalize them across their stores.
