Courtney Pineau

Executive Director, The Climate Collaborative

Courtney Pineau joins the Climate Collaborative from Green America, where she served as the Senior Director of Climate and Agriculture Networks leading their Soil & Climate Alliance, and the development of the Soil Carbon Initiative, a verification and measurement program for soil carbon and soil health.  Prior to Green America, Courtney was the Associate Director of the Non-GMO Project for seven years. In this capacity, she helped lead the growth of the organization from its foundational early years to its current position as one of the leading food certifications in North America. Pineau’s career has focused on working with mission-driven organizations and leaders to help them scale their impact through strategic programming, partnerships, and communications.

Courtney holds a BA degree from Western Washington University and an MBA in Sustainable Business from the Bainbridge Graduate Institute (now Presidio Graduate School).
