February 2025 Newsletter

We can't wait to see many of you next week at Climate Day (March 4th) and throughout Expo West! For those unable to attend, we’ll be sharing key highlights and collaboration opportunities after the event.

To help you plan your time at Expo, be sure to download our full Climate Day agenda—including the participant map and details on other key events, like our annual gathering at the Packing House.

This year’s keynote speakers, Otto Scharmer and Jerome Foster II, will bring powerful insights to help us lean into all that is emerging in our collective work. With nearly 40 speakers, dozens of companies, an engaging Resource Fair, and a post-event cocktail hour, this year’s Climate Day is truly a can’t-miss event.

Looking forward to connecting with you soon!

PARTNER OPPORTUNITIES

The Almond Project Seeks New Partners: Distributors, Brokers, and Retailers

The Almond Project is seeking distributors, brokers, and retailers to join its work bringing regenerative almonds to market at scale. With farmers, processors, and brands in the coalition, we're missing the critical voices of the rest of the supply chain to figure out the economics of regenerative almonds.

The Almond Project, launched in 2021, began with the development of a five-year study in California's Central Valley, implementing and researching a variety of soil health practices. The Almond Project's founding members represent a rare coalition of cross-functional advocates: spanning from third-generation almond growers (Pacific Ag Management) and processors (Treehouse California Almonds), to pioneering food brands (Simple Mills, Daily Harvest, and Cappello's), and non-profit conveners (White Buffalo Land Trust). The collective has since grown to include Justin's and Good to Go and further initiatives.
