March 2025 Newsletter

Spring has arrived in the Pacific Northwest, and with it, the longer days and budding trees are bringing a welcome sense of renewal. I am so thankful for that. In this spirit of emergence, we’re excited to share several new initiatives designed to support you in growing your capacity for meaningful climate action—together.

Introducing the Climate Leaders Circle!
We’re thrilled to launch the Climate Leaders Circle, a new community for those navigating the complex, often isolating, work of climate leadership. This isn’t just another peer group—it’s a purposeful, action-oriented space for food and grocery sector leaders who are balancing resource constraints, shifting markets, and mounting climate urgency. The group will meet monthly and will dive into one core theme per quarter.

Upcoming Workshop – Future-Proofing with Climate-Resilient Crops: Key Considerations for Onshoring, Innovation, Resilience, and Nutrient Density
In mid-April, we’re hosting a workshop on climate-resilient crops led by Alisa Knapp. If you’re exploring how to integrate onshore innovation into your supply chain while building greater climate resilience, this session is for you. You'll walk away with insights into the opportunities—and challenges—of incorporating new crops and ingredients, informed by real-world case studies.

Regen Transition Community of Practice – Cohort 3 Launching in Early Summer!
We’re now enrolling the third cohort of our Regen Transition Community of Practice, which has supported more than 25 companies in navigating the complexity of regenerative transitions. Grounded in Otto Scharmer’s U Journey methodology, this program is designed to help participants navigate the complexity of regenerative transition. Facilitated by Jeff Bos of FOMENT and the Climate Collaborative team, this immersive and curated community of practice invites you to sit in circle with regenerative ag experts, participate in case clinics, and work on prototyping solutions.

Aligned Sustainability Reporting Initiative – Phase 2 Coming Soon
In late May, we’ll be launching Phase 2 of the Aligned Sustainability Reporting Initiative (ASRI). With 20 companies engaged in phase 1, we are excited to welcome new companies as we shift from scoping the challenge to prototyping shared solutions for sustainability reporting.

We’re energized by what’s emerging and hope you’ll find one or more of these initiatives to be a strong fit for where your climate journey is headed next. As always, please don’t hesitate to reach out if we can be of support to you and your work.

In collaboration,

Courtney
