I hope this finds you healthy and safe. With a continued spate of wildfires ravaging the west and hurricanes in the southeast, this year continues to highlight the ways in which climate change is actively threatening our lives and livelihoods.
We have more work to do than ever, but the global response to COVID-19 is already providing a roadmap of just how possible an ambitious national response to climate change could be.
Less than a week from the U.S.'s formal pullout of the Paris Agreement, and an election that will determine the next national phase of climate action, we are busy planning how to give you pathways to act and advocate in the coming months, from sign-on letters to advocacy opportunities and new tools to help you act on climate. Stay tuned to hear more, and please share your ideas and feedback with us.
We loved hearing from many of you as part of our Spark Your Day breakfast meetup on October 13, which featured speakers from General Mills, Lundberg, and companies from across our network. One big and hopeful takeaway was that many of you are not only not slowing down on climate this year, but rather are ramping up your commitments and work. Thank you for everything you are doing, and we look forward to helping you keep it up!
Take care,
Erin
