October 2024 Newsletter

If you're anything like our team, it feels as if we're collectively holding our breath as the election nears. Many people I speak with share this feeling. My hope for each of you this weekend is that you find a moment to pause, take a deep breath, and reconnect with your “why.” What is it that draws you—and your business—to this critical work in climate action?

When we, as climate-leading businesses, connect our purpose with consumers, we have the potential to deepen engagement in climate action and strengthen alignment with our offerings. Recent insights from the Return on Responsibility report produced by the Potential Energy Coalition emphasize this. Their report highlights the powerful role businesses play in fostering climate action through transparent practices and authentic communication. They provide very compelling data to share with your team as you consider how and why to tell your climate story. As we engage our audiences with our purpose, we help build momentum for a resilient, regenerative future.

In these final days before the election, I encourage each of you to use your voice to inspire others to vote. Our Vote4ClimateNow campaign has resources for your social media and newsletters to help you remind your networks of the power of their vote in shaping a climate-positive future.

In collaboration,

Courtney
