Reflections from the Global Climate Action Summit

This September has been packed on the global climate action landscape—Climate Week NYC is taking place as I write this, two weeks ago we convened an afternoon of climate programming at Expo East for the natural products industry, and bigger than all of this, this month California became the epicenter of the global dialogue on climate change as the state hosted the Global Climate Action Summit (GCAS) from September 12-14.

The Results are In: Unveiling Our First Tracking Progress Update

The Climate Collaborative is pleased to release the findings of its first Tracking Progress Update. In total, 168 companies provided updates on a total of 543 climate action commitments made prior to December 31, 2017.

Two-thirds (66%) of the companies reported making progress on their commitments with roughly one-third (36%) also quantifying the emissions reductions of their efforts.
